MegAllele" Genotyping Products

MegAllele products utilize ParAllele s next-generation genotyping technology that comprehensively and accurately scores 1,000s to 10,000s of targeted SNPs for each DNA sample in a single assay. The MegAllele genotyping assays utilize an optimized set of universal molecular tags (TrueTag") that enable detection on industry-standard microarray platforms like the Affymetrix GeneChip® arrays. Now, researchers can easily adopt this technology in their laboratories or access it as a full-service through ParAllele.

Genotyping Kits are available with both custom and standard assay panels in three sizes to accommodate study designs utilizing 3K, 5K, or 10K SNPs. With a single scanner, a lab can perform up to 960,000 genotypes per day.

First in a line of products to enable affordable whole genome studies, the MegAllele Genotyping 10K cSNP Kit consists of 10,000 amino-acid-changing SNPs. This product line enables genetic studies based on direct detection of disease alleles without relying on linkage disequilibrium (LD).
